This tour package has been carefully designed covering some of the most magical & mystical destinations in Himachal Pradesh and Amritsar and Chandigarh. Experience the magical weather, snow-capped hills and some breathtaking landscapes at Himachal Pradesh along with a spiritual visit to the famous Golden Temple.
DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN DELHI
Namaste and Welcome to India!
Once you arrive at the Delhi airport, meet our representative who will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to let you overcome jet lag. In the evening you may explore the colorful and lively markets of Delhi. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 02: DELHI – SHIMLA
Get up early and start your journey towards Shimla also called “Queen of Hill stations”. Breakfast will be served on the way to Shimla. Upon arrival in Shimla check in at the hotel and relax. Rest of the day is free at leisure. In the evening you can visit the Mall Road to explore the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 03: EXCURSION TO CHAIL AND KUFRI
Post breakfast Enjoy full day excursion to Chail & Kufri. Chail is a beautiful hill station located 63 km from Shimla in the Shivalik region of Himachal Pradesh. Chail Palace, Chail Cricket ground and Chail Military School are all symbols of Chail’s connection with the erstwhile royal house of Patiala. Later on visit Kufri a small mesmerizing hill town blessed with scenic locations. One can enjoy the spectacular beauty of this place.
Kufri is also a hot spot for skiers, and offers great slopes for freshers as well as for experienced skiers. Evening return back to Shimla for overnight stay.
DAY 04: SHIMLA SIGHTSEEING AND EXCURSION TO MANALI (250 KMS)
After an early morning breakfast, we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Shimla, where we visit Jakhoo Hill, St. Michael’s Cathedral and State Museum. Afternoon, continue our drive to Manali covered with lush green valleys, snow peaks, the Beas River and enchanting mountain lakes makes, Manali a traveller’s Paradise. On arrival in Manali, check in to your pre booked resort. Overnight stay is at Manali.
DAY 05: MANALI SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Manali. Visit Vashisth Temple believed to be around 4000 years old, just 6 kms from Manali, Tibetian Market Hadima Temple – an ancient temple that is dedicated to Hadmiba who was the wife of one of the five Pandavas Bhim, Nehru Kund – Nehru Kund is a natural cold water spring situated on the Manali-Keylong road. Evening return back to hotel & Overnight stay at Manali.
DAY 06: MANALI – SOLANG VALLEY – ROHTANG PASS – MANALI
Post breakfast get ready to explore the mesmerising hill town of Manali. Visit Rohtang Pass, a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km from Manali and Solang Valley, 14 kilometers on the north west of the main town of Manali, Solang is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. When heading to Manali for a vacation, two absolutely essential destinations in the itinerary are Rohtang and Solang where you can also partake in different kinds of adventure activities such as para-gliding, zip lining, rapling, rock climbing etc.
Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 07: MANALI – DHARAMSALA (240 KMS)
Today we head towards Dharamshala, surrounded in the shadow of Dhauladhar Mountains. Arrive Dharamshala and check into your resort. After little relaxation visit Kangra art museum, displays arts, crafts, miniature painting, collection of sculptures, pottery and anthropological items which shows the rich past, that date back to the 5th century. Overnight stay is at Dharamshala.
DAY 08: EXCURSION TOUR TO MCLEODGANJ
After breakfast, we drive to Mcleodganj founded by Punjab lieutenant – Lord David McLeod. The place is known for its serenity, peace and Buddhist and Tibetan culture. While here we will visit Buddha, Padmasambhava and Avaloktwshwara monasteries. Spend some time relaxing and exploring the local vicinity and later drive to Dharamshala. Overnight stay is at Dharamshala.
DAY 09: DHARAMSHALA – AMRITSAR (200 KMS)
After breakfast, we head to Amritsar – the spiritual capital of Sikhs. Amritsar is one of India’s most ancient and fascinating cities in India. Amritsar is 200 kms from Dharamshala. Arrive Amritsar and check in to your hotel. After freshen up enjoy visit to Indo – Pakistan border at Wagah, which is about 28 kms from Amritsar, hosts the prideful change of guard ceremony at dusk. Evening we visit Golden Temple to experience the glittered view of the magnificent temple also known as Harmandir Sahib. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
DAY 10: AMRITSAR – DELHI (BY TRAIN)
After breakfast, we will visit the Golden Temple. It is believed that every Sikh should pay a visit to respect their culture and holy book – Guru Granth Sahib, at least once in lifetime. You will see people taking holy dip at Sarovar (holy lake). Also, large halls serving the food called ‘langar’. From here, visit Jallianwala Bagh – an emotional tribute to Indian freedom movement and Durgiana Temple. Late afternoon, transfer to the train station to board your train to Delhi. Assistance upon arrival at Delhi train station and assisted transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay is at Delhi.
DAY 11: DELHI – DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the hotel, start the day with tour of Delhi, drive past Red Fort built by Shah Jehan who held his first Durbar here on 18th April 1648 AD. Jama Masjid (Jumma Mosque) near the Red Fort is the biggest mosque in India and perhaps in the whole world. Visit Qutub complex, which houses Qutab Minar, Quwat ul Islam mosque and Iron Pillar. From outside see President’s House which was formerly the Governor General’s residence of colonial India. In front of President’s House is India Gate a memorial of soldiers who lost their lives in World War I and Afghan war. Humayun’s tomb built in Red sandstone built by Akbar between 1565-1580 AD. In time transfer to Delhi airport for your flight back to home with some beautiful memories of this tour.
